I love his surprises.

I had a lovely day. Despite freaking out over the problem set for biochemistry and then being attacked viciously by my cramps in the middle of work, everything about today was good. I was just so cranky at work after my lady parts were punching me from the inside, and I curled up a few times under the desk to seek refuge away from the staring eyes of our patients. They too were concerned, and me…I just wanted a heating pad filled with lava.

Anyways, Cullen texts me with a favor, to pick up cheese from the grocery store. I had to tell him I couldn’t, any other day, I’d gladly go pick something up for him. Today..well, I wanted to get home ASAP and rest up. So I’m walking up to my apartment, I call him to let him know I’m home and he tells me he’ll be over shortly to go get dinner.

But instead, I unlock the door to find this beautiful set up, with “La Vie en Rose” playing and immediately I went to look for him.

I seriously do not deserve him one bit, but this was beyond lovely. Happy early Valentine’s day for sure, since you know, I’m going to be spending Valentine’s day knee deep in a few tests.
