I knew somewhere in the depths of old photobucket accounts I’d stumble upon a picture of you.
Peter Pham.
I was recently reminded of you when my little sister put up a post about your clinic. My eyes started welling up at the thought of our lives once intertwined by youth group and “big brother to little sister” mentality. There was a time we were close, and we developed terrible jokes that even we didn’t understand, we would laugh for the sake of laughing.
I guess hearing about you was a revelation of how I’ve distanced myself away from the church/my home/my community. I think the last time you and I actually talked was right before you set off for your sabbatical in Vietnam. Anyways, I wanted to say I miss you, a lot. Jennifer misses you a lot. We both held each other with a heavy grief of missing you.
I hope your dream lives on, Peter.

Always: on my toes, smiling, singing, giggling, ticklish, caffeinated, thinking, learning, listening, speaking, on the ukulele, dancing, playing, and falling apart.
Buy me strawberries and I promise to love you long time. I tip toe when my shoes are off and I'd enjoy any good book you threw my way. My moleskines are my rough drafts and my tumblr is the edited version of my thoughts.
