Happy year of the dragon.

Not that it means much, but I hope your lunar/vietnamese/chinese/what have you-ese is a beautiful, prosperous, and healthy one!

As for me, I started the new year with getting rid of the old and stepping in with the new. I am nostalgic for the times I would be gambling with my grandmother and my cousins on New Year’s day. I miss skipping school the next day because I was simply too exhausted from all the fun we had (plus driving home and car rides are tiring for anyone.)

I also miss the dresses…

I can’t take a photo to save my life, and neither can my brother.

But yea, this…the time we spend together is what I miss.
