This year is starting off so great.

Mariah got an internship! I knew she’d get it, even though she didn’t attach her resume to her e-mail the first time around :] I got a tech job, so I can finally interact more with patients and can watch them flinch as I get them ready for the tonometer (eye puff machine!)

Anyways, as I’m watching this new semester slowly begin, I’m realizing the immensity of the world, its time-line, and its ability to move with the flow of things even when don’t move the same way rhythmically.

Oh, as I’m learning my way around insurance, verification, benefits/eligibility, and progressive lenses, I can just feel myself loving this field more and more. It’s also really nice to have the doctor herself be so excited to teach you everything she’s learned in her 6+ years of optometry perfection period. 

I can’t wait to start teaching new time contact wear-ers how to put those silly things in their eyes!
