Finally, after much anticipation and patience, Cullen took me to see this movie. I read the first two books over the summer, enraptured by the novel as a whole. Graphic, but powerful, and it made me paranoid for weeks.
The movie did a beautiful job at depicting what the book explained. Of course nothing is ever as accurate as what writing dictates, but the movie was done well enough that it didn’t have to be exact. Though, I did notice people leaving the theater a bit confused on some parts, and I was itching to tell them EVERYTHING about what they saw and what it was trying to follow, but I refrained because it was a bit past midnight, and they were much older than I.
So happy I saw it, and so happy the director, David Fincher (?) did a wonderful job with it :]
