I just went on an all out cleaning binge. I don’t remember the last time I vacuumed my carpet and didn’t feel residual fallen hair all over my carpet (gross yea, but I shed like a dog.)
Did my A&PII practical, and am angry at myself for not spending more time with the arteries and veins in the arm, which is the one I was struggling to memorize the most.
Got complimented on my hair and outfit multiple times today. Was questioned if my hair was naturally wavy, and unfortunately, it is. The secret to one side being beautifully wavy and the other side not, is towel drying with a t-shirt, then I would remove t-shirt, comb through somewhat damp hair, and fall asleep on the side you want flat. (this technique works if your hair naturally curls after being exposed to moisture and if you have layers like crazy.)
I’m just happy my carpet is ridiculously clean, even though I had to give the bristles of the vacuum cleaner a good hair cut after each room (bonding time with Ari I must admit, it’s great.)
I’m starting to feel gross/embarrassed of my body again. Was almost tempted to do a lemon diet but realized next week is nothing but tests, after tests, after more tests, and one day off to work, and then another test.
Cherry blossom seed germination is about as long as it takes to make a baby. 9 ish months. I think I’ll wait before I start working on my cherry blossom tree stuff :]
“Unlike nasal decongestants, which can be used to make methamphetamine, laundry detergent is generally used for its intended purpose after it is stolen, authorities and industry officials say. Many thieves are selling it on the street themselves at cut-rate prices, sometimes outside coin-operated laundries.”—Guys, this black market Tide story isn’t going away. (via cheatsheet)
What made me laugh even more after seeing this headline in the news was the fact that the MOST stolen item was fresh meat… I cannot fathom how people just steal a huge raw chunk of meat.
