Prevent Blindness
So instead of heading out to work in the early morning, I spent this chilly morning in a very odd community. My group got lost, but we finally found a tiny immigration center where a small health fair was set up. My job was to screen for vision acuity and early signs of vision loss from glaucoma or macular degeneration. The entire community, well at least 98% of them spoke Spanish so I was already...

I was stupid and the first time around they came out way too huge and kind of burnt, the second time was another fail, I finally got the system down and they were DELICIOUS! Things to be happy about
swelling has gone down considerably, I’m still puffy, but not as much!
Mom and pop have gone out of their way to make me comfortable/relaxed, which is a wonderful way to spend the last few days of break.
Waffle looks funny in everything we put him in.
Got a considerable amount of rain/thunder storm-ness, which is good for Texas, always.
Will be able to return to Dallas by Thursday and...

A common side effect of pain medication. :D Be sure to mention it to your parents and/or doctor, they might be able to mix things up.

I AM SO DEPRESSED
and I honestly have no idea why. I go through fits of sobbing every 30 minutes or so and my eyes cannot produce anymore tears so it just swells in my eyes until my vision is blurry.
ugh.
